Reader, what if I told you that not having a degree in data science could actually be your greatest strength? I’m reading Range by David Epstein at the moment, and it’s got me reflecting on how perceived weaknesses can actually be strengths. Some of the most creative and impactful people in history—across science, technology, and art—didn’t follow a single, straight path. They explored, experimented, and brought skills from one discipline into another. I’ve experienced this firsthand. My degrees are in English Literature, yet today I thrive in data, where storytelling, curiosity, and the ability to connect dots have proven far more valuable than formal training in the discipline ever could. And the best part? You can do it too. Click below to learn how (bonus: a photo of 23 year-old me in my cap and gown). 👇
✨ What’s your story?Did you come to data from a different field, or are you thinking about making the leap? I’d love to hear how your unique path has shaped your approach to data. Hit reply and let me know! Thanks for being here. Lee |
